Foundation Briefings May 20th

Good morning everyone and happy Wednesday.

In today’s Gospel, Jesus reminds us that God sees what is hidden in our hearts. Every act of kindness, every sacrifice, every prayer, every loving gesture, and every good intention is known by God. Even the quiet things that nobody else sees are seen by Our Lord and He will reward you accordingly.

“Your Father who sees in secret will reward you.”

Matthew 6:4
What a beautiful reminder that every good deed matters in the eyes of God.
A heartfelt thank you to the many hands helping prepare our wonderful community Carnival. God sees all the love, sacrifice, time, and effort being poured into this special event. May abundant blessings be granted upon each of you and your families for your generosity and joyful service to our school community.
A very special thank you to the Cole family for generously donating the donut truck for the Carnival. Thank you Fern and thank you Daniel for your kindness, generosity, and support of our school community. Your joyful contribution will certainly bring many smiles to our students and families.
Raffles are still being sold and will continue throughout the Carnival so please continue supporting this joyful community celebration.
As a reminder from yesterday’s announcement, Good Shepherd Church is presently hosting the Mediatrix Conferences from May 18 to May 21 centered on Divine Mercy and the Angels. Daily Mass is at 9:00 AM with talks at 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM led by Father Peter Prusakiewicz. The conference includes reflections on Saint Faustina, Saint Michael the Angel of Mercy, and helping Jesus save souls. What a beautiful opportunity for prayer, learning, healing, and growing deeper in our Catholic faith. We encourage everyone to support and attend if able.
We are also very excited as we prepare to welcome His Grace on June 5 for Holy Mass at Saint John Paul II Academy. It will be the first time His Grace will be visiting our school and we are deeply grateful and honored to have him with us. Many people are working quietly and diligently behind the scenes to ensure everything is beautiful and welcoming for this very special visit. Thank you to everyone helping prepare for this important day in the life of our school community.
A very special thank you to Julia Dee for her inspiration and leadership in coordinating the Opus Dei Recollection on June 13.  This beautiful opportunity will include prayer, reflections, adoration, confessions, presentations, fellowship, and spiritual growth for parents and families. Separate sessions will be offered for mothers and for fathers and sons. We warmly invite our entire community to attend and participate in this meaningful and faith filled gathering centered on growing closer to Christ.
We are also very excited to welcome Ascend back next year. I will be meeting with Teresa Band this week to discuss details for the upcoming year. Ascend is a wonderful program that supports homeschool students and families and they will be joining us 2 times each week. Their mission aligns beautifully with our Catholic values and mission at Saint John Paul II Academy and we are grateful for this wonderful partnership and opportunity for our school community.
Saint John Paul II Academy continues to be a place of faith, joy, service, learning, and community. We are so blessed to witness the beauty of what God is building within our school each day through our students, staff, families, volunteers, benefactors, clergy, and friends.

“Let all that you do be done in love.”

1 Corinthians 16:14
May God continue blessing each one of you abundantly.
With heartfelt blessings 🙏
