School Life
Saint John Paull II Academy
St. John Paul II Academy has the look and feel of a CISVA high school with the Gospel message permeating everything that we do. In the CISVA mission statement it notes that the ‘Catholic school is committed to excellence and in all areas, that promote the development of the whole child to his or her full potential.’
As such, we offer a full academic program designed to prepare students for post-secondary education. We also recognize students with learning difficulties and special needs and offer programs to meet the needs of individual students.
Our academic program, while consisting of all the core subjects as per Ministry of Education guidelines, offers a STEAM and Humanities program as well as Core French, Physical Health Education, and a strong Christian education program.
We have taken full advantage of the new education curriculum and currently offer a variety of electives: Drama; Digital Literacy; and Home Economics, Band, Art, and Robotics.
“In the CISVA Strategic Priorities, under Vision for Learning it emphasizes that we are to ‘guide students in the pursuit of truth, beauty, and goodness and within the Catholic Intellectual Tradition.”
