Foundation Briefings June 4th

Totus Tuus

“Teacher, we know that You are truthful and teach the way of God in accordance with the truth.”

Mark 12:14

Good morning everyone,

In today’s Gospel, Jesus reminds us to remain rooted in truth and to place God at the center of everything we do.
When Christ is at the center, people work together in harmony. Different gifts come together. Challenges become opportunities. Teams become stronger. Communities flourish.
It is always inspiring to witness people working together with a common purpose, not for personal recognition, but for the good of others and for the glory of God. When faith guides our decisions and Christ remains at the center, remarkable things can be accomplished.
At the Saint John Paul II Academy Foundation, we see this spirit every day through the generosity of the community, which continues to build a culture rooted in faith, service, and love.
As Saint John Paul II often reminded us, we are called to be people of hope. We are called to trust God’s providence, remain faithful in our daily work, and allow the Holy Spirit to guide every step.
Totus Tuus. Entirely Yours.
As we move through June, here are a few friendly reminders regarding several exciting initiatives and events taking place within the Foundation community.
Saint John Paul II Academy Foundation Transportation Program
The Saint John Paul II Academy Foundation transportation program continues to grow as enrolment increases.
Currently, transportation services include pick up locations at the Ladner Exchange area, Gracepoint Church, and Good Shepherd Church.
We are actively exploring additional transportation opportunities to better serve families throughout the region. Potential future locations may include Precious Blood Parish, Cloverdale Catholic communities, Saint Matthew Parish, Saint Michael Parish, Saint Bernadette Parish, and other surrounding areas.
At present, we are evaluating community interest, route planning, and logistics to ensure the most effective and sustainable transportation service possible.
Additional information regarding routes, schedules, and registration will be communicated shortly.
If transportation would benefit your family, please let us know as soon as possible. Community interest will help determine future priorities and route development.
Those interested in learning more about the transportation program, volunteering, or supporting transportation initiatives are encouraged to contact:
Thank you to everyone who continues to support this important initiative as we work to make Catholic education more accessible throughout the region.

An Invitation to Learn About the Napa Institute
Many members of the community have asked about the Napa Institute and what makes it such a unique gathering for Catholic leaders.
Founded in 2010, the Napa Institute seeks to deepen faith, strengthen Catholic leadership, and equip men and women to bring Christ into every aspect of society.
Each year, hundreds of faithful Catholics gather in Napa Valley to participate in daily Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, the Holy Rosary, keynote presentations, educational sessions, and fellowship with fellow Catholics from around the world.
The conference brings together bishops, priests, religious, lay leaders, educators, business professionals, philanthropists, and faithful Catholics who desire to grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus Christ and more effectively serve the Church.
The Napa Institute reminds us that faith should never be separated from daily life. Whether in business, education, family life, or public service, Catholics are called to place Christ at the center of everything they do.
The Institute is a beautiful reminder that leadership, stewardship, and service flourish when they are grounded in faith. Through prayer, formation, fellowship, and learning, participants are equipped to bring Christ into the community and the world around them.
We encourage members of the community to learn more about this wonderful apostolate and the important work it is doing to strengthen Catholic leadership throughout North America.

This prayerful and formational experience is a wonderful opportunity to refresh and strengthen family life through Christ.
As we conclude, let us remember that every worthwhile accomplishment requires faith, perseverance, courage, sacrifice, and hard work.
The greatest achievements in history did not happen overnight. They were built by people who remained committed to a mission, trusted God’s providence, overcame obstacles, and continued moving forward even when the path was difficult.
May God bless each of you and your families abundantly.
Totus Tuus.
