Student Activities

At St. John Paul II Academy, we value the opportunity for co-curricular and extra-curricular activities because they are essential in building the whole child and in developing school pride and spirit.  What this will look like will be dependent upon our resources – both student, parent, and faculty.  Our goal is to provide a well-rounded program to challenge and inspire our students. We will also need to adapt to our situation initially by utilizing the many resources in our area for our Physical Education classes and Fine Arts electives.

The proposed Extra-Curricular activities for the 2018-19 include

Cross Country
Girls Volleyball

Basketball – boys/girls

Track and Field

Phil and Gabriela Gerard

``We are so very excited to be a part of the St. John Paul II Academy initiative. Just when we started to discuss high school options for our children we received the e-mail about the town-hall meeting regarding the possible construction of a new Catholic high school in South Surrey. We left that evening with the strong desire to be a part of this exciting new school. This is a legacy and being part of it from the beginning is amazing; our son will always remember being a charter student. The incredible leadership behind this project and seeing how an idea can become a reality with dedication and commitment is inspiring. We are blessed to part of this journey and cannot wait to see St. John Paul II Academy’s doors open.``
