Faith & Service
With St. John Paul II as our role model, we will endeavor to form a welcoming Christian community, recognizing, respecting, and nurturing each student to grow to their full potential in faith, knowledge and love.
Our hope is that every student will grow to understand their responsibility to live their Christian commitment to the earth and its people.
This is an important component of our Catholic identity and to our growth as persons made in the image and likeness of God.
In light of that, we are committed at St. John Paul II Academy to the following:
- Developing a Campus Ministry program
- Local and global outreach programs
- Relevant Retreat Program
- Reception of the Sacraments – the celebration of the Eucharist is the most important thing we will do as a school community
- Prioritizing a strong Religious Education program
ST. JOHN PAUL II
“The mission of the Catholic school is the integral formation of students, so that they may be true to their condition as Christ’s disciples and as such work effectively for the evangelization of culture and for the common good of society.”
“The specific purpose of a Catholic education is the formation of boys and girls who will be good citizens of this world, loving God and neighbor and enriching society with the leaven of the gospel, and who also be citizens of the world to come, thus fulfilling their destiny to become saints!”
DR. JOSEPH AND HOLLY KING
“Our eldest son, William is excited to be entering St. John Paul II Academy’s inaugural Gr. 8 class. As his parents, we are excited that he has an opportunity to be part of the vanguard of students in our new Catholic high school that will serve our Church and community by providing generations of students with an outstanding academic experience centered in Catholic values. With Mr. DesLauriers’ experience and leadership, we are thoroughly confident that the students at St. John II Academy will experience a superb education and bear witness to the words of St. John Paul II, ‘You are the hope of the Church and of the world. You are my hope.”
