Principal’s Statement

Thank you for your interest in St. John Paul II Academy – a new Archdiocesan Catholic high school which opened its doors to our inaugural grade 8 class in September 2018. Now, in our fourth full year of operation, we have 79 students in Grade 8 – 11 along with 14 fantastic staff members. We are currently operating out of Star of the Sea Parish Centre in White Rock.

I am very proud and honoured to be selected as Principal and can honestly tell you that this has been one of the most worthwhile projects I have been associated with during my 40-year involvement in Catholic education here in the Archdiocese.

Though in its infancy, this website represents another step forward as the school moves closer and closer to fruition – something that has been a long time coming for the South Surrey Catholic community.
